Sooooooo, you might like to rub your eyes a bit.

*rubs eyes*

*sees first new post in 4 months*

That's right. C'est moi, Jessica Yeo, back from the dead!

I just finished my last test of the semester some hours ago, and now I don't have anything to do, since I've also (finally) finished Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Well of course I could start catching up on all my readings, but I'd rather read a book. And maybe I will, later.

As you might have expected, lots of things have happened since 1 December 2008. For starters, at the end of the month I declared my major. So please stop asking what I'm majoring in, it is plain for all to see below:

Then there was the Countdown to 2009, which Sam and YQ and I spent on the Padang drinking free ACM beer.

And not long later I was forced to go back to school. The good thing was that I managed to get all my first-choice modules and tutorial slots; the bad thing was that almost all the slots started late. In fact, the earliest I get to leave is 4 p.m.

(Mais bien sûr, now that I've just finished my second-last week of school, I shall be rid of this lousy schedule soon. So that's another good thing.)

The only other "highlight" of January was my birthday, and you'll notice I typed "highlight" with inverted commas. Because it sucked. My whole family had other plans on 18 January. And I had work to do. Which I did do, because I had nothing better to do, because everyone else had better things to do than celebrate my 21st birthday. :P

And then there was Chinese New Year, which sucked too, except that I got more money since it was my 21st birthday-that-nobody-celebrated.

I don't remember much about February and March. It was mostly just readings, stupid essays, making obnoxious comments in tutorials, and more readings.

Two interesting things happened near the end of March though. Firstly, I got gastric flu - twice. I skipped as many French classes as possible during that period. :P

The second was, of course, YQ's birthday. It was fun enough, but it would'be been funner if I hadn't had one whole stack of work to complete back home. (The next week at school was hellish; I was forever two days behind on my work.) The beach was nice and the food was nice and the drinks were nice and YQ treated us to the entry tickets. Oh and it only started raining heavily the moment we reached Vivo. Haha. Then we got to shop around (where I realised I had managed to get sunburnt despite applying two layers of sunblock!) and YQ treated us to dinner. :)

Unfortunately, that week was followed by two weeks of essays, neither of which I actually managed to finish before going to school.

And finally, there was THIS WEEK, which was full of tests - mostly French. Now my brain is rebelling and demanding that I do something other than reading my notes.

So that was my very brief summary of 4 Months of My Life. Here's hoping my next update won't be another four months down the road.
