I feel a sudden urge to play Fire Emblem.

Maybe it's because I was watching FE videos on YouTube on Friday night. Or maybe it's because I watched LOTR on Sunday. Or MAYBE it's because I played The Sims Pet Stories that day and it was so damn boring I didn't actually play it so much as just insert the CD-ROM, look at my neighbourhoods, then eject the CD-ROM. :P

Then I sat down and decided the only fun game I have is Fire Emblem.

Either way, I suddenly really miss massacring everyone on an open field.

So I dug out my worn FE guidebooks, flipped through the pages, and found many many pieces of paper with my tactics scribbled on them. Okay, and other than my tactics there were A Math workings too, which absolutely don't make any sense at all now.

Anyway, amongst all those notes I found my planned team for my next playthrough! So maybe I might try Hard mode for the first time, finally.

Or maybe I should play FE: The Sacred Stones instead. Eliwood or Ephraim. Have to choose between them. Sigh.

This is soooooo not helping since I already have a long list of things to do. Firstly, I have to read my book. I made progress! I read ONE CHAPTER today! I don't think I've ever read more than 2 or 3 pages in one day before, so it's a LANDMARK ACHIEVEMENT.

Then I have to clear my closet. Because it has become painfully obvious that I don't wear any of the clothes hanging in my closet; the ones I do wear are all stuffed in piles, which means they are usually crumpled. :P

And I also have to complete my Malaysia thingy. It's amazing how many times I was 1) accidentally locked out of my hotel room, and 2) hiding behind things and pretending I was invisible. Who knew it was possible to get into so many misadventures in a hotel??? :P

Ah yes. But before I can do all of the above, I have to sleep. Goodnight.

As you can see, I still haven't changed the template. I can't stand those huge buffet pics on the front page of my blog so I'm hoping to publish more posts and banish the buffet post to the archives. :P

Oh yeah, and SPAIN WON EURO 2008!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! :p

Anyway, a few weeks ago (or rather, more than a month ago), I was preparing to clear my desk when I happened to dig up my old Peer Mentoring notebook. That's the notebook everyone was given to write their reflections on the training sessions.

I only used three pages......so the notebook ended up being my stand-in journal during my ASEAN exchange programme. Or rather, the Malaysia leg of the programme. Because we were so damn busy in Singapore (staying up late to get all our articles done - and having late night drinks at TCC...hehehe) so I didn't have time to write anything. Which is a pity, because I have more Singapore pics. And anyway I already gave my account of the Singapore leg in my blog when I got back.

Okay, so the point is that I never ended up posting up the journal because 1) it was incomplete, and 2) I came back right before all my major projects were due and so I never had the time anyway. And then I forgot where I left the journal, obviously. Hahahaha. Which is such a pity cos I find the first few entries hilarious - all my hysteric ranting about Singapore having no culture and national costume and how I was the most uninteresting delegate around. And then there were my "preparations" for Singapore's "cultural performance"...

Yeah. So maybe you'll finally get to know all about my mysterious week in KL. Not promising many pics though, since we rarely left the hotel.

IN OTHER NEWS, I finally went out for some fresh air yesterday, after missing my usual Wednesday shopping trip since it was raining. The stupid thing was that I had nearly reached Forever 21.......when I realised I had left my money at home!!!

Luckily (or unluckily), they didn't have anything nice in the store. Not one pretty flowery blouse anywhere in sight! Sigh. I was starting to get used to seeing new flowery blouses everytime I dropped by. :P So I ended up back home within like 45 minutes, after which I spent an hour having a fashion show in front of my mirror, then I took a 1.5 hr nap. Wanted to order McDonald's for dinner (since they deliver the fiery chicken nuggets), but the delivery cost ($3) was a big turn-off, so my mummy cooked pasta with lots of mushrooms instead.

IN OTHER OTHER NEWS, I don't know if you've noticed, but I haven't finish reading a book in months. That's because I've been stuck on the same book for months. Hahahaha. As if Egypt, Greece and Rome: Civilizations of the Ancient Mediterranean wasn't thick and heavy enough, the font is soooooooooo damn small. And the first part of the book is on ancient Egypt and I can now confirm that I have absolutely no interest in ancient Egypt! I only have two chapters left before moving on to ancient Greece........and I don't particularly have any interest in ancient Greece either. It apparently never occurred to me to just get a book purely on ancient Rome. :P
