Ugh. Don't know what's wrong with Blogger, taking so long to load. Probably because I'm blogging in two blogs at the same time. I sure hope this appears on the right blog. Hahaha.
Well. On Monday I borrowed the second movie, Run Lola Run, and watched it that night. I even managed to squeeze in time to watch the second half of Anastasia. Ahhhh. I never get tired of watching that. :)
I survived through Tuesday (being a really nice and considerate person, I returned Run Lola Run first thing when I reached school) and had a really short nap (half an hour?) before I had to get up for dinner. Which meant, of course, that I couldn't keep awake long enough for the CL match (as if I wanted to watch it) and went to sleep at 2.30 a.m. - which is apparently a new early bedtime record.
However that STILL wasn't enough sleep for me! Could barely get up on Wednesday morning. The good thing is that I didn't get lost on my way to T7 again. In fact I had time to borrow the third movie and another Poirot episode. The bad thing is that it started raining REALLY heavily during the class. Plus as usual I was too busy thinking of my after-school plans to listen to the lecturer. Anyway trying to understand synodic years and sidereal months when it's raining and you're sleepy and you want to go shopping *cough* is a bit impossible. I actually fell asleep during our short break.
But then class ended and I made my way through the rain to the MRT. I did sort of lose my way there but I ended up taking a shorter route...now if only I can remember it next week...
It was still drizzling so I couldn't get off at my usual bus stop at Orchard. I don't know if this was good or not. My first stop was Forever 21, in which I, er, spent all of my money since they unexpectedly had some stuff I've been looking for (because that place usually never stocks the stuff I'm looking for!).
The bad part of this was going to Topshop after that. I hadn't expected to buy anything there, but I found my belt in the last S! And I didn't have anymore money to get it!!! And you know what's worse? I wanted to get it last Friday but they only had it in M!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grr.
It was quite dark outside because of all the rain, but I wandered around a little longer. Saw some more things I wanted to buy (but obviously had no money left), decided the torture was enough..................and went home to sleep.
I can't remember all that I did last night, but I did read the book I borrowed on Monday, Cards On The Table. I realised the book would probably make much more sense if I knew the rules of bridge, but of course I am total crap at card games so I don't know - and an online search so didn't help. So forget it. I'll just read the darn thing for the fun of it.
The match started and I realised halfway through that I was bloody tired and probably couldn't last through it. I think I fell asleep in the 5 min before half-time and didn't even realise it. Got up at half-time to go and sleep...then I realised I had better stay awake and deal with my HFTV notes...I mean, I hadn't even gotten halfway through this week's notes, and this week's classes are over already!
Somehow I managed to perk up long enough till the end of the match. It was a boring match by the way.
P.S. You might've noticed that I changed the date language on all my posts to French.
P.P.S. Better get back to the other blog. Less than an hour left before FW (oh how I am looking forward to it) and I still have other stuff to do.

I feel rather productive this weekend. And very proud of myself.
Among other important achievements, I managed to buy another shirt on Friday, finish The Hollow on Saturday afternoon...and watch both Citizen Kane and Death on the Nile by 5 a.m. this morning!!!
;) if you're wondering how I managed to solve the DVD problem. Let's just say there was a delivery yesterday evening whilst I was stuffing myself with KFC (again).
I decided to be nice (yeah right, I just wanted to watch it first) and watch Death on the Nile with my mother around midnight. Bah. The movie was barely half over when she dozed off and insisted she wanted to sleep. The funniest thing was that less than five minutes after she went off to sleep, the action finally started. Hahaha.
The movie was okay. They cut quite a lot of characters from it, most noticeably Allerton who stole the pearls and ended up marrying Rosalie in the novel. So they made someone else steal the pearls and another person marry her. Hahahaha.
Then it was time to watch Citizen Kane!
I was pretty tired by then, and the DVD so did NOT help. There were three audio selections - two with voiceovers by different guys talking about the various shots in the film and how they were accomplished and what they symbolise, yada yada. The final audio selection therefore would only contain the film's dialogue and music..................but there was NO SOUND!!!
So in the end I had to tune in to one of the voiceovers, whilst reading the subtitles and observing what was going on in the film. Didn't help that everything was in black and white. That real test in multi-tasking gave me a real headache, I tell you. And whilst the voiceover was very helpful, it was also highly distracting PLUS it didn't give me a chance to discover all the special effects by myself - which I think completely defeated the purpose of watching the movie.
It finally ended at 5 a.m. and I went to sleep.

Now that the very mild stuff is over, I shall do a bit of ranting.
Okay. There was another reason why I was in such a bad mood on Tuesday morning. Prior to leaving the house I was staring at my computer screen and thinking:
#$%^& stupid hanging computer!
#$%^& stupid hanging outdated computer that can't run any programs I need for school!
#$%^& stupid hanging outdated computer with no sound that can't run any programs I need for school!
#$%^& stupid hanging outdated computer with no sound that can't run any programs I need for school...and doesn't play DVDs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then I left in a huff.
On Wednesday I was going to sleep and just before I dozed off I thought, thank goodness I dropped French. An 8-hour day directly following two 10-hour days? How fast do you want to drive me insane?
(The above, as you will notice, was not a rant per se...just a random thought...although I really feel like ranting about certain other people's timetables)
Thursday after school I was walking hastily towards the MRT and thought for the one-thousandth time since last year: Why do SP guys have this strange need to clump in big groups along narrow walkways, whilst strolling along at a pace even slower than I can crawl? AND WHY DO THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO DO THAT WHEN I'M RIGHT BEHIND?!
I had just finished thinking that, when my route was blocked by - you guessed it! - a group of SP guys walking at a pace slower than I can crawl.
I got home and the only lift that serves my side of the block was under maintenance. I wasn't in the mood to walk all the way to the next lift and take it to the 12th floor, before walking all the way back down the corridor and down to the 11th.............so I glowered and climbed the 11 storeys instead.
Rant over.

It's 12.53 p.m. and I'm sitting at home with a bowl of instant noodles.
Yes, I did go to school today. And no, my school day isn't over yet.
Of all things I stepped into our OM tutorial room (slightly late, thanks to the collaborating bus and MRT)...to find out that we would only be there for an hour today.
That meant a 3-hour break after that...enough to watch the movie...except that I hadn't been anticipating 3 hours (the movie is 119 min long I think) so I didn't bring the stupid DVD!!!!
So I went home. I did think about going shopping, but after topping up my card I realised I didn't have enough money left. Hehe. Anyway that is what Fridays are for.
I couldn't get up this morning, not sure why. Probably no motivation once again since we're back to 5 p.m. days. Or maybe cos I slept late? Past 3.30 a.m. Yes yes, I was watching Arsenal vs. Villareal. I wasn't gonna watch it but since I wanted to read my book, thought I might as well have some background "music" at the same time.
And it was a good match too. Why? Because there were many goals scored? Because a fight broke out? Because Arsenal lost? Well, unfortunately neither of the above happened. It was a good match because 10 min into the game this cuuuuuuuuuuute squirrel hopped onto the pitch and periodically disappeared and reappeared at the side...until it finally hopped across the field and interrupted the play. When it finally hopped off for good, the spectators actually started cheering! Hahahaha. So amusing.
But that's not the point. The point is that I am gonna be late if I don't leave NOW. Oh sure, I'm very lazy at the moment, but it's Feature Writing after all.
EDIT: Aaaaaaaaaaand I think I shall reserve comment on the above class. I need to rethink this writing thing. Didn't help that my whim told me to lie throughout the class - no, I'm not interested in writing; no, I don't keep a diary; what I plan to do after graduating? Hmm...advertising probably... 1.09 a.m. and I want to sleep. I could've done a lot of (more) important things today, but I chose to read The Hollow. Kindly let me enjoy my soulless life for a little longer before the projects pile up.

I am back, so as you can see this blog hasn't been closed yet. :P
The first day was long and drawn-out and overall unbelivably crappy. MMR was okay (an Excel-like program?!), during the break I finally borrowed The Hollow. Wanted to read it during the holidays but I couldn't be bothered to buy it, nor make the trip to school.
In DMA we watched the first part of The Matrix - not for fun, to check out the videoediting! :P It occurred to me sometime into the movie that I had watched most of it before...I just don't remember where or when.
There was another break before I dozed off in Consumer Behaviour and didn't hear a thing. I honestly didn't know how I was going to last for another three hours. Had dinner (at 3 p.m.) whilst it rained heavily outside and I wondered what it would be like going home to sleep.
HFTV was...well. In all actuality I had no idea what the class was and who the tutor was until Miss Kwa stepped in with that regrettably THICK piles of notes. Found out that, among other things, we were required to watch three specific movies in the first term, along with reading 20-50 pages of notes per week.
After the usual introductions and stuff, we went to the DMS to watch Cinema Paradiso, this Italian film I am too tired to elaborate on.
I was tired and depressed when I got home at 7 p.m.
My only motivation for leaving the house on Tuesday was this little voice telling me that people don't usually give in after one pathetic day of school.
The day was significantly better.
I actually managed to stay awake during the 2-hour MMR lecture...I managed to borrow Citizen Kane (the first required movie) from the library...had a HUGE KFC lunch at FC 5...gave up reading the HFTV notes and slept for 20 min back in the library...finished the second part of The Matrix in DMA...got through the CONB tutorial...
I actually didn't have a break from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., but miraculously KFC lasted me that long. Hahaha. We finished Cinema Paradiso, had a short discussion, and left around 6.15 p.m. Reached home at 7 p.m. again.
Wanted to finish the notes and get a proper nap, but I ended up napping first and waking up at 1.48 a.m. However, since I was so proud of myself for having survived the first two days, I treated myself to the CL match (and read the notes at the same time, but didn't finish!).
I had less than three hours of sleep so I could barely wake up. BUT somehow I was pretty alert through LSC (although it would be more convenient asking my sis about this stuff than taking the module...). I didn't have lunch because it was raining heavily (as usual) and I had no idea how to get to T7 under shelter.
This is completely embarrassing but I took 20 min to get to the classroom, having got lost on the way. :P There was still time left so I went to the main library. Then I returned to the classroom, where I was HORRIFIED to find that my GEM requires a group project. Plus I was gonna do something different and be sociable for a change...but unfortunately all the people surrounding me were 1) squealing Nese, who 2) happened to be classmates. Gee.
We were released at 2.35 p.m. after learning about different types of calendars, festivals, blah blah. Intriguing. But I was really more excited to find that it had stopped raining. I, er, followed a trail of students who were headed for the MRT, then took the train to City Hall and walked to Marina Square for my Stipulated Shopping Session. Serious withdrawal symptoms considering how packed Monday and Tuesday were.
There wasn't much to see (which could be a blessing or a curse, I don't know which) but I managed to get my shirt. I met Rachel on the way back to CityLink, after which I took the bus home (having decided that sleep was more important than going somewhere else to shop!).
Was JUST going to nap when my mother came back with dinner. This time I managed a 2-hour nap. :)

The end is near.
In case you didn't get the sublimal messages I was giving out in the last two posts, Monday is the day I've been waiting for for ages.
In another life.
Not in a particularly good mood now but let's not dwell on it. I have the whole of tomorrow to do that, don't I?
It occurs to me, having just discussed something with YQ, that my blog is completely pointless. You rarely get to know about the important stuff in my life unless you actually talk to me. Mwahahaha.
I shall keep that in mind.
So long and goodnight.
P.S. And will Sam kindly not complain that this is a short pointless post, because I am fully aware of that and I don't care. :P

Today was one of those days when I am incapable of feeling full.
I spent more than two hours straight boredly stuffing food into my mouth! We were at this Japanese buffet restaurant where you order anything from the menu...and boy, did we order. I had countless helpings of salmon sashimi, grilled salmon and mackerel, black pepper salmon and beef, udon, tempura, California rolls, chawanmushi, squid balls, deep fried chicken...yada yada...and there was ice cream too!
I went home and had a nice long nap. As usual by the time I lay down to sleep, the rain had already stopped. Blah.
That was a completely pointless afternoon.
BUT as for yesterday, I realise I haven't elaborated much on what happened. I met Sam (VERY LATE!) for dinner at Pastamania...where after much careful consideration, I settled on some Bacon Aglio.
Then we went to buy a drink and find our cinema hall. We were like five minutes late but we've been later and the stupid advertisements were still on...
...except not this time. We completely missed the prologue text whilst searching for our seats.
The movie was good! I want Tristan...
...'s sword!!!! And, contrary to what Sam said, it wasn't as violent as some other sword movies! :P But I do not feel any pity for Tristy and Issy *cough* Tristan and Isolde. They had at least two good chances to run away and Isolde missed the first chance (for no reason whatsoever, since she had been running away before she rescued him), and Tristan the second (because he wanted to act cool and brave and defend the king, like all moronic knights do).
ANYWAY, after we got out we wanted to catch the 3.50 a.m. Ice Age II, but I had that lunch thing so we couldn't. Plus I was running low on cash. :( We ended up walking to Raffles City's Cartel, but on the way we decided to just get shaker fries and bacardi at Plaza Singapura.
Like Sam mentioned on her blog, for the very first time I was asked to show my ID at the counter. I snatched the thing out of my wallet and held it out sulkily. I was particularly sulky because, like I said, that was the first time I needed to prove I was 18...and, more aggravatingly, the only ID I have is my EZ-link card, which I hate to death. Everything about it annoys me and I'm not only talking about my picture.
When I graduate and get a nice normal card, I shall stomp on this one or break it or burn it or hammer it to pieces or something.
We ate and drank on our way to City Hall, where I nearly forgot to give Sam her stuff. Hahahaha.
Got home, washed my hair for fun (I already washed my hair in the morning) and sat in front of the computer. Sam kindly didn't turn up online and I couldn't take it any longer, so I went to sleep.
As I was staring blankly up at the ceiling, all ready to doze off, one of my old friends popped into my mind...and I realised something horrible:
My ex-best friend's Chinese name is Jun Yang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took a slightly longer time to fall asleep after that.

I dreamt on Tuesday night that I went back in time and was in Primary 6 again. As I was lounging in my seat in the classroom (which I don't recall ever sitting at), one of my old friends turned to someone behind her and moaned about how worried she was over the PSLE.
I wanted to tell her matter-of-factly that she was going to do well and I was going to completely screw up my life.
But I didn't, 'cos I was more interested in trying to explain to YQ that I was stuck in a time warp. Who knows why she was there; we weren't even from the same primary school!!!
I know why I dreamt about going back in time because I spent a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time before I fell asleep, reliving my primary school years.
The funny thing is that I barely thought about Primary 6. I find that year highly immemorable. I kept a diary at the start and only continued it after the PSLE, so there's a void in the months between that feels as if they never occurred.
But no. I was thinking about Primary 4. I stepped into that class feeling downright resentful; I left superbly regretful. A few years down the road I looked back again and realised I had very mixed feelings about that year. I still do but I don't want to elaborate or someone'll complain about having to read such a long pointless post. :P Maybe some other day.
That said, I was pretty sad to wake up.
Too bad.
It's currently 1.33 a.m. and I am tired. Not only did I not take a nap (for once) on Wednesday, but I still managed to fall asleep only past 5 a.m. and I came back not long ago from a busy day - busier than most people know. Oh, and the bacardi is so not helping.
Then there's lunch later...
EDIT: It's like a nightmare that keeps repeating itself. I just found out something that makes me nauseous. And bitter. If it wasn't fated, then why does the alternative suck so much?

Sigh. Busybusybusy week. Hey, at least I won't have time to be depressed about next week. :P Just finished my book, which was of course very good. The villain was cooler than the hero. But then again villains are usually cooler than heroes - I mean, Ash is sooooo annoying and Gary would probably be a better lead character in Pokemon. But I suppose Pokemon's not exactly a good comparison. And aren't the villains really Team Rocket? Anyway, I can start finishing my other stuff now. Will five days be enough? I doubt it, but it's better than waiting till my next holiday. Whenever that is. Argh, so much to do, so little time. And I'm hungry again. Bah.

My stomach feels weird. It's been feeling crappy since I fell sick. Instant noodle withdrawal, maybe? Hmm.
I went out yesterday (Friday)! I was delayed around an hour because I overslept, then as I had almost reached the bus stop, my sis called to bring some stuff to her office. I obliged since 1) I was heading to City Hall so the bus was gonna pass by anyway, and 2) it was her birthday.
Got to Raffles Place in the midst of the lunchtime crowd. Yippee. Had to do some backtracking, followed by a walk along the river, before I met her near the "Big bird statue".
Then it was off to City Hall via MRT (Money wasted!!!). Went to the usual places. Sat outside Topshop deliberating what to buy (the shirt or the earrings? - strangely enough, I haven't bought any earrings this holidays). Speaking of which, they just stocked a nice new batch of jewellery. But that's not the point. I finally decided on the shirt (the one I tried when I was out with Sam the day before my shopping spree).
Either way I got my voucher. Now to decide what to get.
I'm going out with my mother later. To do something of vague importance. What thing? Er, it'll be obvious soon enough.
...While I'm on the topic of going out, I realised I never updated on my outing on Tuesday - since I fell sick right after that and everything. Anyway, just for Sam's info, they didn't restock at Zara BUT I found the last size S of my pink-and-grey shirt at Great World City. Haha. So ends the Cheapo Shirt Search.
And now I really must continue with that blasted report. I need something like 32 words more but since I've barely touched on the shopping, much less the entertainment (particularly that infamous Ski Dome!)...I think it will go on for a little longer.
EDIT: "With more than 40 retailers housed under one roof, being spoilt for choice is an understatement!" "...thrill rides at the largest indoor family entertainment centre in the country, the Magic Plant..." No wonder the Mall was sounding so unimpressive. Thank goodness I proofread. (FYI, it's supposed to be "400" and "Planet".)

Today was another of those days when the whole world insists on interrupting your sleep. I only went to bed around 5 a.m. (was working on my report, which is currently all of 56 words long) and expected to awake to my alarm at 11 a.m.
...
9.25 a.m. I had to get up and answer the house phone. It was my aunt, wanting to buy some lunch. Just that she would only arrive an hour later.
I whiled away the time reading the papers. Almost an hour later the doorbell rang and I got my food. Then I went to have a nice bath.
By this time it was about 10.35 a.m.; I set my alarm to 12.40 p.m. and fell asleep.
At 12.25 p.m. my phone rang. It was mother, asking if I had any lunch.
There was no point sleeping for the remainder of time, so I (grudgingly) got up and switched on the computer.
At promptly 1 p.m., I managed to access the Add/Drop Module thingy to register for my GEM. Then I went to have a bit of my infamous lunch.
After which is was my requisite after-lunch nap.
Between one and two hours later, my mother called again. This time about dinner.
I returned to my nap after that. Was awoken briefly when she came home...then I managed to sleep all the way till about 7 p.m.
...
So, anyway, there is only one explanation for my very small lunch and my very long nap: I've been sick the last two days. I bet it has to do with school again. It coincided with the start of my report. HMMPH.
And, therefore, my Wonderful Shopping Plans have been ruined. *grumble* Not that I was ever gonna go out today actually. My stupid GEM appointment made it impossible to go out before and too late to go out after it. Plus it was raining crazily in the late afternoon.
Oh well. We have tomorrow.
Which reminds me that it's my sister's birthday tomorrow! She had too much work so she had to cancel today's dinner. Which was a good thing considering what a "large" appetite I had.
Now I've nothing better to talk about so I'll go and continue with my report. Only 150 words more!!!

I just came from watching that new Ch8 drama. (Yes, I watch the occasional Ch8 show. Quit laughing.) Anyway, it's sooooooooo funny. Not that it's meant to be funny, since it's a drama...but really! "Hong Kong" and "Shang City" (wherever that is) look suspiciously like Singapore...the airport the couple departed from and arrived in looked exactly the same (*cough*changiairport*cough*)...and when the wife's friend told the husband that his wife had disappeared in "Curtin Mall", I shouted, "What bloody Curtin Mall? That's Parkway Parade!!!"
Wahahaha. So entertaining. In a bad way.
*clears throat*
But enough of that. I have yet to overcome the trauma of sitting down in front of the TV for dinner...and hearing my mother ask, "Eh, Campus SuperStar showing what time ah?"
Oh puke. And then I just read Sam's post. :P
(Oh, btw, kindly stop calling him "JY"!!! That's someone else's initials too!!!)
*clears throat again*
I wasn't going to go out today, but lunch cropped up at the last minute. I'm currently annoyed with every single person who calls my parents' phones...because they always bloody call at the bloody wrong time!!! Like I was trying to have a proper conversation with my father today, and his stupid phone was ringing every two minutes or so!
*growl*
So lunch was completely pointless. I went to Zarz after that and surprisingly, they had new stocks of some stripey shirt. Not the cheapo ones, but rather unflattering. I tried two shirts along with another pair of jeans. I regret that. I want the jeans. BLAH. The length of Zarz jeans makes me weep for joy.
The only thing that saved the day, however, was my stumbling upon the Topshop top in the correct colour. And in my size. So after the discount and everything, I realised I only need to spend $10 more before I can get that voucher!
Wow. I should seriously encourage my sister to use the card more often.
Heh. Right. Enough about that. More lists coming up below. I am in a particularly good mood 'cos I finally finished stupid Chapter 11.
Five thought-provoking questions nursery rhymes raise - Why was Baa-Baa Black Sheep obliged to give wool to the boy living down the lane?
- Why was Humpty-Dumpty so important that the king sent his horses and men to put him back together again?
- Why didn't someone throw away the nine-day-old pease porridge? I mean, some liked it hot and some liked it cold...but I doubt anyone liked it stale...

RvN just scored his 150th Man U goal! Which happened to be the winning goal too!
...aaaaaaaaaaand that wasn't the reason for my blogging. :P
Today was...tiring. Got up less than 5 hours after falling asleep. Was too lazy to take some new clothes out so ended up wearing my blue top and jeans again. I love my jeans but I'm getting a tad tired of always wearing it.
Should get another pair.
*hums and continues typing*
Not really fun going out with so little money and no member card, but I managed - if only because there wasn't much in stock, other than the cheapo striped shirts at Zara. Wanted to get three but they didn't have the pink-and-grey one in S anymore. Blah.
Shall go camp out and wait for the next shipment.
*hums louder and continues typing*
Topshop was boring other than the shoe section. I want those green flats!
*hums even louder and continues typing*
Marina Square was chaotic but managed to get some more vital stuff before I went completely broke. Then, starving, I waited for my bus for a good 20 min before I could go home.
And at the moment I can't remember why I wanted to blog. So I shall end off. EDIT: Oh right! How idiotic of me. I completely forgot that my sister's birthday is this Friday, and my father's the next. And was it my imagination, or does someone's birthday fall on the 18th? I don't recall the person though...hmmmmmmmmmm.

Got back from the concert at midnight. Stuuuuuuuuuupid traffic jam on the way there meant I was stuck along the same road for, what, 10 min? Bloody. And I was only two bus stops away from the MRT!
Anyway it wasn't too bad 'cos only YQ and Andrew were there. Everyone else was at least 15 min late. Haha.
There was a slight drizzle on the way to the Singapore Conference Hall and when we stepped in, the first thing that I thought was: Gee...I absolutely don't know anybody here!
Really. It was like being back in SP. :P Except that SP isn't swarming with little kids who are dressed up as if it's prom night. Anyway SHS doesn't have a stupid prom night, so we must take pity on them and let them have their fun. *shakes head sadly*
We were practically the last ones entering the hall - thanks to ZY who turned up right at the last minute. We hurried into the packed place and located our row - only to find that it was filled with little kids.
("Little kids" meaning the current students. I like using that term. :P )
Like what the - ? The whole row was full and we had 8 tickets!!! The kids ignored us so we got an usher to chase them off. :P
The concert started promptly, whereupon I was busy wondering when the Symphonic Band became the Wind Orchestra. Sheesh, so many things have changed in two years. I mean, think about it: even Pub's no longer in existence.
All right. So Pub's not exactly a good example. :P
Speaking of Pub, during intermission we all turned behind us (since we were seated quite in front) and scanned the rows behind for any teachers we remembered. We saw Mdm Wong, Mrs Pang, Mrs See, Mr Lee, Ms Teo...to name a few. Not to mention Miss Tan (vp) and the new principal, who made a short speech at the end. Seriously, if only he had been principal during our time. :P
Oh yeah, Owen was one of the emcees and made tons of lame remarks. I'm surprised no one threw their programme at him. Hehe.
The concert ended after two encores and everyone started filing out. Mdm Wong left pretty fast but thankfully she was still outside when we exited - although I had to chase her halfway down the stairs. Haha. For a moment there I thought she didn't recognise me. Sniffsniff.
Hmm. I'm still meaning to make a trip to SHS someday. Which is weird since I've never been very attached to that place. Oh well. There's always the bubble tea across the road to consider.
We wanted to go to Maxwell Food Centre, but guess what? Nobody knew the way. So we ended up taking the train to Raffles Place and walking to Lau Pa Sat. Funny, haven't been there since New Year's 2005 - and with practically the same group of people!
(Which reminds me that New Year's 2006 was sucky.)
I spent a looooooong time deciding what to eat. Finally settled on fried dumpling noodle because I really was starving. I set the tray on the table and WH said, "Finally you eat!" Like I haven't eaten since the dawn of civilisation or something. Apparently those chocolates didn't shut him up.
I finished my food and immediately went to Cheers to buy a lime Bacardi Breezer. Was supposed to share with YQ but ZY wanted a taste, as did almost everybody else. ZY was impressed enough to share a bottle with WH. He bought orange, which tasted...well, let's just say he was begging us to switch bottles with him. :P
After that we all got up and left. YQ was going home and the others were going to someone's house for mahjong. But since I'm busy today, too bad. Found my bus stop and - how lovely - the bus arrived at once. That's how I managed to get home so soon. :P
And now I shall sleep. Photos tonight if I'm free. Actually I only have two photos. Haha.
