Ha! Guess who started playing The Sims yesterday: my sis! I must admit, it's been ages since I last heard ANY Sims music, let alone from the original starter game. I should really install it again before the exams end...or start. And I can't wait for Makin' Magic to be released!!! It's starting to seem cooler and cooler, especially with pet dragons, spell books, new cooking stuff, and of course, my favourite...FURNITURE!!! :)

Back again. It's Friday! This time next week it will be our English exam. This time the week after next I will be lifeless from too many exams, too, in fact. Hmm. Bad thought.
Okay, I haven't updated because 1) I was too busy with all the usual tests this week, and 2) Nothing actually happened.
Ahem. Have a problem. See you.

All right, the last time I left off I didn't update on my day. Which was fine, I guess, nothing spectacular. We had this council meeting after school and that was the first time (after a term!) that I really got to look around it. I don't know why I used to think the room looked to grand and intimidating, seriously. Maybe from the outside, okay.
Anyway, I think I'm really getting to like the CCA council! Our meeting was pretty much a laughing session, although WH took the initiative to tease me/sabotage me wherever possible. Still, we had a lot of fun deciding where to go for our council outing during the holidays. One of the ideas (granted, kiddingly) was the zoo, and I actually don't mind the zoo, you know...

Yoo-hoo! Managed to put an embedded mp3 on the site! (claps with glee) Here are the lyrics to the new song, Flora's Secret. Also by Enya. I'll probably only play her songs, because they're nice without being so absorbing that you forget to read my blog completely! :c)
Lovers in the long grass
Look above them
Only they can see
Where the clouds are going
Only to discover
Dust and sunlight
Ever make the sky so blue
Afternoon is hazy
River flowing
All around the sounds
Moving closer to them
Telling them the story
Told by Flora
Dreams they never knew
Silver willows
Tears from Persia
Those who come
From a far-off island
Winter Chanterelle lies
under cover
Glory-of-the-sun in blue
Some they know as passion
Some as freedom
Some they know as love
And the way it leaves them
Summer snowflake
For a season
When the sky above is blue
When the sky above is blue
Lying in the long grass
Close beside her
Giving her the name
Of the one the moon loves
This will be the day she
Will remember
When she knew his heart
Was
Loving in the long grass
Close beside her
Whispering of love
And the way it leaves them
Lying in the long grass
In the sunlight
They believe it's true love
And from all around them
Flora's secret
Telling them of love
And the way it breathes
And
Looking up from eyes of
Amaranthine
hey can see the sky
Is blue
Knowing that their love
Is true
dreams they never knew
And the sky above is blue

Do I seem very free to you? I mean, considering I just changed my template, like, a week ago? I'm actually supposed to be typing up my story. No wonder I can never finish anything I start; I keep getting sidetracked. Oh, well, still a few things to figure out about this template (though it's a lot neater): how to put music on (for some reason it doesn't work like in my previous template) and how to finish the just.me column without all those weird spaces! Why are they there anyway? I can't figure it out.
P.S. I'm going to add a different mp3 to the blog, will post the lyrics when I post the song.

Hey. Haven't blogged for 10 days, I know. Complications I won't tell involved. In 10 day (just 10 days!) our Bio competition trio won 6th prize, and I got (my sixth) Distinction for New South Wales (English). That's a flawless record, and probably my second-best achievement even though there's nothing really special about it.
I have successfully NOT sounded moody in my first paragraph. Ha, because I'm in a really bad mood. (As usual, some people would say) I dream of the day I get to leave this circle of people in secondary school.

(waves at screen) Hi! Only have a few minutes to type before I have to zip off to the Induction Camp. Yeah, I know: At 7.15 a.m.??? So it's been three days waking up early for school, and one day for swimming. I've only had one day to sleep in! Argh! I am in dire need of rest.
(stops to swallow vitamins) Err...before I go off I should probably explain why my blog is so...superficial. I mean, surely a lot more happens in my day than just those little bits I mention, right? Right. That's because I already have a journal. A whole collection of them, in fact. Which proves I'm pretty lame having a blog plus a journal.
But hey - didn't say I wasn't lame, did I?
P.S. Bio site not going well. Still looking for template...

Ahhh...the blog is *really* starting to look sprightly. As you can see I finally managed to use "Anywhere Is" as my background music! Hooray! That surely jacks up the Version no. even higher. And if you were wondering how I rate my Versions, it's actually pretty random, just that 1.0 will be added for new templates.
P.S. The tag board is still in its early stages. Can't dwell too much on it, must start up my bio site! :P

Ahem. Wasn't really expecting so many exclamation marks from them! (Oops, exclamation mark) Anyway, feeling very tired now. Don't want to do boring old social studies. I should give myself a break, y'know? Spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday doing my homework. Thankfully ss does not require numbers, but still...ahh, never mind. Supposed to give you the lyrics, so there you go:
Enya 'Anywhere Is'
I walk the maze of moments
But everywhere I turn to
Begins a new beginning
But never finds a finish
I walk to the horizon
And there I find another
It all seems so surprising
And then I find that I know
Chorus:
You go there you're gone forever
I go there I'll lose my way
If we stay here we're not together
Anywhere Is
The moon upon the ocean
Is swept around in motion
But without ever knowing
The reason for its flowing
In motion on the ocean
The moon still keeps on moving
The waves still keep on waving
And I still keep on going
Chorus
I wonder if the stars sign
the life that is to be mine
And would they let their light shine
Enough for me to follow
I look up to the heavens
But night has clouded over
No spark of constellation
No Vela no Orion
The shells upon the warm sands
Have taken from their own lands
The echo Of Their Story
But All I hear are low sounds
As pillow words are weaving
And willow waves are leaving
But should I be believing
That I am only dreaming
Chorus
To leave the thread of all time
And let it make a dark line
In hopes That I can Still Find
The way back to the moment
I took the turn and turned to
Begin a new beginning
Still looking for the answer
I cannot find the finish
It's either this or that way
It's one way or the other
It should be one direction
It could be on reflection
The turn I have just taken
The turn that I was making
I might be just beginning
I might be near the end.

Ahhhhhh...welcome to my new blog template, complete with a suitable description. Which, by the way, comes from the *wondrous* song "Anywhere Is" by Enya. Will paste all the lyrics in soon enough.
Oh, why a new template, you ask? I decided that whatever html I did could never turn out fantastic enough to be proud of. Thank goodness I found this template! It's called Orion, although that constellation sign by the Title is NOT Orion as far as I can see. I don't even know what the others are, except perhaps the one in the Links header: Canis Minor. And I have absolutely NO IDEA how to lower the title, so please bear with it. I am trying vainly to do so myself.
P.S. Will keep .::Monochrome::. - it happens to fit in with every single template!
