Hey, long time no write! Here's a few QDs to entertain you till I am able to type a full blog again...

Goku: "So what's your name now?"
Hakkai: (dramatic) "Hakkai, Cho Hakkai."
Goku: "Hakkai. It suits you better than the last one."
Gojyo (to Goku): "Your brain's too stupid to remember his name."
Goku: "Who says? Hakkai, Hakkai, Hakkai, Hakkai, Hakkai, Hakkai, Hakkai, Hakkai!"
Hakkai: "Here's a question: how many times did Goku say 'Hakkai'?"
Sanzo: (bored) "Eight times."
Hakkai: "Correct!"

Hmmmm...today was fine. Nothing extra special (do you count WK's solo concert during Chinese and WH running up to present him a pom-pom...special???), nothing extra depressing...'cept maybe failing my E Maths CA. I, like, spent the whole term trying to pull my grade up and was happily succeeding...until today. Just like English. Here I was, on my way to top of the level, and suddenly I just pass one composition (apparently too much dialogue for a journal, imagine!), and within days, was out of point for another composition. Goodbye, official top score. Considering I'm best known for my English, I've actually only officially topped Geography, History, Literature, Biology and Combined Humanities.

And if you're wondering, I didn't catch GS today again. Only managed half of Friday's show since I had my Bio practical. Therefore, no quotes.

Didn't do anything spectacular this afternoon. Just lunch at Grand Copthorne Hotel, then Centrepoint, then Eastpoint for my haircut. Granted, it's longer than what I would've liked, but thanks to stupid school rules, I can't possibly have it exactly shoulder-length anyway. But it's thinned, and boy, what a gigantic difference that makes!

Okay, as promised, the QD. Not really amusing, unless you knew bratty Lilin had run to Sanzo's party and started annoying them to death until Sanzo stuffed a bun into her mouth.

Kougaji: "I'm here to collect my sister."

Hakkai: "Please feel free to take her!"

Woo-hoo! *Does mad dance* My CA is officially over! Sure, there are still class tests, but that never ceases anyway. Oh, didn't catch GS again yesterday, only the rerun. I'll give my QD later tonight, going out for lunch now. Also gonna cut my hair. I like it halfway down my back, but it's waaaaaay too troublesome...

Let's see...I went to sleep at 2 a.m., and woke up at 5.30 a.m. Still have some Bio left to study (darn, I can't remember anything!), but just a quick update of the QD(s). Mind you, I missed the 7 p.m. episode again.

QUOTE 1

Yaone: "Please die." (Very encouraging!)

Hakkai: "Please give up now." (Like she'll stop once you remember your manners!)

QUOTE 2

Rikudo: "Hey, are you guys demons?"

Hakkai: "What? What a rude question." (What's rude? You're a demon!)

Can't stay long to chat, if I want to finish my bath before GS starts. Yep, I'm watching the rerun of yesterday's episode, since I missed it. (No reason given) Obviously don't have QD yet. Perhaps if there's anything nice today, I'll give two QDs. After all, I'll be watching 4 episodes! However, I'm reallllllly busy (blame the computer for hanging halfway through my insightful post just now!) so might type tomorrow...

I'm baaaaaaaaack! Printing the pics while I'm typing (*rubs hands in excitement*). The feeling is just so...er, odd. Nothing else but odd. Maybe pride if I looked a little better, but I don't, so too bad. And, oh yeah, the QD. Couldn't find anything really amusing in GS yesterday (aside from Hakkai's "Us? You don't know about us?" to a demon), but there was a particular conversation at the end of Episode 4 that was pretty funny. Here goes:

Gojyo: "It's so disappointing."

Goku: "What is?"

Gojyo: "A nice girl always has a boyfriend."

Hakkai: "Then what about a nice guy?"

(someone, probably Gojyo): "They travel to the west to blah blah blah." (Fine, can't remember the whole sentence!!)

Camera zooms out. Everyone starts cheering.

Someone: "Wow!"

Someone else: "Good one!"

Okay, it's not me to post at 11.29 p.m. on a school night, with too many tests and CAs this week to juggle, but it's an emergency: Guess what I just saw on the MediaCorp site? Thanks to Samantha, I now have not one but TWO pics on myself - posted online! One is a side profile (don't know what the hell I was looking at, but certainly not at the camera), and the other a group photo...with me holding the trophy. Like, isn't that the biggest spoiler you've ever seen? ANYWAY, that's all I want to say. I also collected 3 newspaper articles on the show this afternoon, after rushing home from an as-usual horrendous Chinese Oral. My QD will come tomorrow morning.

Let's see...I shall start something new in this blog...a Quote of the Day! *grins* And my inaugural QD is: "Oh boy, it was rude of you to attack me while I was sleeping."

Which, of course, was Hakkai's line from Gensomaden Saiyuki, episode 2.

It has come to my *ahem* attention that I have not updated in over 10 days. Whoa! ANYWAY, in these past 10 days, I have

1) Acted as traffic controller during the National celebrations, when we had to 'ship' the whole school to GV Tampines Mall for a screening of Homerun. As a result I missed the first screening (where my class was) and settle in the front row for the second screening. Pitiful, pitiful.

2) Lazed around during the weekend. Well, that and bookstore-hopping. I bought two history books, The Warrior Queens by Antonia Fraser, and The Usbourne Encyclopedia of World History, of which I used my $20 MPH voucher on.

3) Caught the first episode of Singapore's Brainiest.

4) Visited the DNA Lab at the Singapore Science Centre, where we did experiments on bacteria. My favourite part was the bus ride home, when we went absolutely wild. Considering we are from 3A, I don't think we lived up to our name with all the antics we managed to squeeze in. For example, there were pringles cans rolling up and down each aisle, and sweet packets flying overhead.

5) FINALLY got my hands on the inaugural issue of The Pub Hub! As chairman you'd think I would've gotten the first copy, but NO, nobody gave me the honour...

6) Met my P6 teacher. (Not good when your primary school is just next door)

7) Sat for a disastrous Maths CA.

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Gone crazy over Cho Hakkai from Gensomaden Saiyuki!!! :)

Yesterday was...okay. I finally reached the conclusion that I wouldn't want to sit at the other side of the class with all those noisy OBS people around, so I am at peace with myself. Besides, I have better things to do than yak away all day. Sleeping, for instance, would be satisfying for starters...

Ahh, the new school week. Right now I'm sitting in front of the computer with my hair braided for the first time in my life (two plaits not counted), while my mother goes through my cupboard looking for clothes I've outgrown.

Tired, very tired. What a day of shopping this has been! Spent the whole afternoon at Orchard Road. Bought shoes (my first pair of shoes in how long?), a book, and a necklace with a 'J' charm. Now I'm just sitting here typing, getting woozy, nodding my head, closing my eyes..........

Jessica wrote home at 9:55 pm

I'm typing this since I think it's a moment worth celebrating:

Looks like my site is starting to fall into place. And I've got a backup so suddenly-vanishing-templates don't scare me! Schoolwise, today was pretty good. My last day without the OBS people. Man, so not looking forward to their return. Not trying to be offending/insulting, but most of that lot form the boisterous part of the class, which I HATE. Just being plain honest by saying that. And *argh* to 3B and whoever-told-Ms Tan about the show!!! Now she can't stop teasing me with questions like, "Why don't we ask the Singapore's Brainiest Kid?" (yes, she thinks I'm a 'Kid', can you imagine?). Of course, WK is partly to blame for asking all these out-of-point questions about political stuff like fascism. For the first and last time I say that I loathe modern history...
